Marcel Koller spoke to the media in his pre-Simba press conference on Monday morning, ahead of Tuesday's African Football League match at home. 

Koller discussed the draw in the first leg, the preparations for the return match and revealed his happiness to experience the great support of Al Ahly fans again on Tuesday. 

“We are quite thrilled about the support of our fans tomorrow. It is always amazing to fell the support of the great Al Ahly fans at home." 

“We put on a great performance in the first half in Tanzania but we missed many chances and Simba were able to score two goals in the second half. But overall, the team did a good job and secured a draw away from home and our goal right now is to reach the semi-finals,"

“We didn't have enough time to prepare for the second leg. But we will discuss everything regarding the return leg in our main training tonight." 

“The AFL is a strong competition with the participation of the strongest eight teams in Africa. There is no big differences and we have to give our best," 

Koller also gave updates on Mohamed Abdelmonem and Anthony Modeste’s injuries stating that Mohamed Abdelmonem is back to full training, adding that the staff will evaluate Modeste's condition in today's training.
